John Nikolaos Pagoulatos, 80 of Salt Lake City, passed away on June 3, 2003 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 20, 1922 in Patras, Greece to Nikolaos and Ekatarini Zisimatou Pagoulatos.
Married Athanasia "Soula" Demetropoulos in October 1957 in Platanovrisi, Patra, Greece. He came to America on July 7, 1967. He was employed by Interstate Brick from where he retired. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.
John was a hard working
and honest man, who loved his family and friends and life in general. He loved to work in his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Soula, son, Nick P. Pagoulatos and daugher, Kathy Sideris, three grandchildren, Peter, Johnny, and Christopher, brother, Kyriakos (Zoe) Pagoulatos and sister, Arhondoula Fasouli and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Angelo and Lili and two sisters, Vasso and Loulia.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 279 South 300 West. A prayer service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6 -7:30 p.m. Interment, Mt Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 500 South.
