Lucille Allen Hokanson, age 92, was reunited with her heavenly family on June 3, 2003. She passed away at Alta Ridge Assisted Living in Sandy, Utah.
She was born September 5, 1911 to Lonsdale Allen and Ruby W. Allen. She married J. E. Bud Hokanson on June 30, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked many years for the University of Utah and retired in 1976.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Christenson; son, Jerry Hokanson; daughter-in-law Kay Hokanson, 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grand-children; two sisters; five sisters-in-law and other extended family.
Preceded in death by her husband, son, Don Hokanson, grandson, Mike Christenson and great granddaughter, Courtney Jessee, two sisters and three brothers.
A wonderful example of unconditional love to all who knew her, she was a graceful, enduring soul to the end. She always showed us the way. We love you and will miss you always.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and "N" Street. Friends may call from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. prior to the service.
