Lucille Walker Moyle, 96, died May 30, 2003 in Greenwood Manor Assisted Living Center of natural causes.
She was born October 27, 1906 to Benjamin and Ruth Keetch Walker in Lindon, Utah.
She married Wendell Thomas Moyle June 15, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She taught school in the Jordan and Alpine School Districts. She served in all of the auxiliaries in the LDS Church, and was a member of the DUP. She was an avid gardner, quiltmaker, and seamstress; and made quilts that she donated to Primary Children's Hospital. She served her family, friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her daughters: Meridee (Cleon) Smith, Janene (James) Cooper, Kathleen (Ron) Rasmussen, Susanne (Alan) Smith; a brother, Gordon (Joyce) Walker; 25 grandchildren and 66 great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell and a grandson, Jonathan Cooper.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2003 at 12:00 noon in the Alpine Mountainville Chapel, 200 North 50 East. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork; and at the church Saturday 10:30 to 11:30: a.m. prior to the services. Interment is in Alpine City Cemetery.
Family suggests donations may be made to Primary Children's Hospital.
