LaPreal Jones Kezerian of Provo, Utah, passed away from complications of Parkinsons Disease.
She was born the ninth of eleven children to Rollo and Preal Jones of Provo, and is survived by siblings Yvonne, Dorothy, Rollo, Don, and her son Jeremy. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Harold, Melva, Ferron, Duane, Clinton, Laraine, and son Rory.
LaPreal will be remembered for her diligence and hard work. She spent 25 years working as a production epartment secretary and then as head secretary of the legal department at Geneva Steel in Orem.
Later she worked as a technical secretary at Eyring Research. She was active in the LDS church nd especially loved serving as a pianist or as a teacher to the Young Women. In 1987 she married Nephi Kezerian, M.D. in the Salt Lake Temple and became the much loved "family angel" to Deborah, Rebecca, Kevin, Anita, Kristen and their families, including 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She accompanied her husband on an extended genealogical mission to extract names from the Middle East.
A viewing will be held Friday evening, June 6th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary in Orem (495 S. State St.). A funeral will be held Saturday morning, June 7th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Pleasant View Chapel in Provo (650 E. Stadium Ave) with a viewing beginning there at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo.
