Regarding the article on hormone therapy for women by AP medical writer Lindsay Tanner, it was obvious from whom she draws a check. She stayed very conveniently in her ambiguity regarding the actual substance in question by using phrases such as ". . . what doctors have long believed about supplements" and other usages of the word "supplement."
This article was about the danger of using an artificial hormone created by a drug company, conveniently spun to sound like natural hormone solutions were the culprits, at worst, and — at best — in the mix of the problem.
I do not make a living with the written word and am disappointed that someone who does could let this sham article appear in a reputable newspaper.
