After many years of overcoming multiple health challenges, Roxanne passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at her home in Southern California. During the last days of her life, she was surrounded by her husband, children, brothers, and many friends and family.
Roxanne was born February 7, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to Rollo Edward Watkins and Margaret Ann Miller. She was a devoted wife and mother and served faithfully in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Roxanne brought much joy to others, especially through the weekly flower arrangements she did for church meetings for over 15 years. Her love of beauty, passion for learning, and dedication to family history and temple work have been a blessing and inspiration to many.
Roxanne is survived by her husband, Nolan E. Clark; two brothers, John F. Watkins and Jay Watkins; three children, Jennifer Lane, Elizabeth A. Sewell, and Jonathan E. Clark; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 9, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Edgemont North Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4300 North Canyon Road, Provo, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same location at 9:30 that morning. Flowers may be sent to Walker Mortuary.
