A free public screening of the new documentary "Dream Come True?" is set for today in the auditorium of the Salt Lake City Library, 210 E. 400 South.
The short film, produced and directed by young refugees at Highland High School, is a window into the lives of teenagers who have come to Utah from Somalia, Sudan, Chad, Cuba and Afghanistan.
A special project funded by the Refugee Youth & Family Consortium and the Salt Lake City Mayor's Office, "Dream Come True?" is the culmination of work by Highland students and SpyHop Productions, a local production studio. The young filmmakers will hold a question-and-answer session after the screening.
