The so-called acne robber struck again two times Friday, bringing his total to eight.

A man whose most distinguishable feature is the heavy acne on his face is believed to have committed at least six robberies prior to Friday, mainly on Salt Lake County's east side.

Friday, a man matching the description walked into Bakers de Normandie near 700 East and 2100 South. But he apparently got scared when other customers walked into the store and left without being given any money, said Salt Lake City police detective Dwayne Baird.

Later in the day, a man who appeared to be the same person robbed a Flower Patch near 3000 South Highland Dr. and this time got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The alleged robber is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s. He is about 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. In many of the robberies, including Friday's, he wore a green hooded sweatshirt.
