KAYSVILLE — The Utah House, a demonstration project that shows how energy and natural resources can be saved by changing the way homes are built, will have its grand opening Aug. 2 in conjunction with the Utah Botanical Center's Garden Fest.
Utah House and the Botanical Center, owned by Utah State University, are at 920 S. Frontage Road, Kaysville. Tours and workshops will be offered at the house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on such topics as energy efficiency, water conservation and universal design features unique to the house.
