"Together Again"

Our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, won his independence from his earthly struggles Friday the Fourth of July, 2003. He is free at last from the constraints of his physical body.

Dad was born Nov 21, 1932 in Bingham Canyon, UT to Wilma Catherine Ham and Elijah Moses Butler. He graduated from Jordan High School, 1951. He was married July 11, 1953 to Norma Faye Reich. They would have celebrated their golden anniversary next week.

Dad loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He really enjoyed puttering in the yard. In later years, his grandchildren became the pride of his life.

Dad is survived by his son, Randy (Diann), SLC; daughters, Suzanne Mor-tensen, Las Vegas, Laurie Ann Butler, Murray; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife; son, David; parents; and three sisters.

He was a great example of service and hard work to his family. He will be greatly missed.

Services, 2 p.m. Wed. July 9, 2003 Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St. where friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m. and Wed. one hour prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.

Our family wishes to thank friends and family who have kept in touch with Dad and tried to brighten his day.
