Thanksgiving Point will hold a "Labor Day Luau by the Falls" in the Thanksgiving Gardens from 4 to 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children and may be purchased at the Gardens front desk. Thanksgiving Point opens its Farmers Market on the Village Shops Promenade from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The market will operate on Saturdays through Oct. 4. Admission is free. The market includes fresh produce, arts and crafts, food and entertainment. Vendor applications and information are available on the Web site at www.thanksgivingpoint.com. For other information contact Jon Clegg at 768-7453.

Jericho Road in concert at 7:30 p.m. at the Utah Valley State College ballroom, to benefit the David Ssejinja Children's Foundation. All proceeds go to help children in Uganda. The SCERA celebrates its 70th anniversary from 6-11 p.m. with J. Marc Bailey and the Knights of Freedom at 6 p.m. at the Shell Outdoor Theatre and a giant screen "Sound of Music" movie sing-along.
