Two men were in good condition after being injured in a stabbing in west Salt Lake's Pioneer Park on Monday night.
Neither man would talk to police about the 7:40 p.m. incident, Salt Lake Police Lt. Dana Orgill said. They may have stabbed each other. Detectives will continue to try to talk to the men to find out what transpired.
The men were taken to University and LDS hospitals.
One man was stabbed on his right side and police found him in the park, Orgill said. His stabbing resulted in a puncture wound. Medical crews cleaned and stitched the puncture Monday night and he was expected to be released from the hospital sometime today, Orgill said.
The second man was stabbed three times in the back. He was found staggering down Rio Grande Street (455 West) by people outside the Salt Lake Community Shelter.
