PROVO — Sunset View Elementary School students couldn't stop reading this summer.

Provo City Library officials presented a traveling trophy to Sunset View on Tuesday for winning the city's summer reading contest. Sunset View had the most students complete the library's summer reading program.

A total of 1,436 children completed the program out of 4,201 who signed up, said Mark Rose, assistant director of the library. The 34 percent completion rate was an increase over 2002, Rose said, when the traveling trophy was presented for the first time.

Rock Canyon Elementary finished second, followed by Westridge and Wasatch schools.
