Obituary: Donna Geddes Woodward Williamson

1914 ~ 2003

Our wonderful mother was peacefully called home by her Heavenly Father Sept. 9, 2003 in Bountiful, Ut.

She was born to David and Nettie Geddes on March 19, 1914 in Baker, Oregon. Grew up in Denver, Colo. attended Utah State, and later settled in Salt Lake City.

On August 14, 1933 she married her sweetheart Harold L "Woody" Woodward and together they raised four daughters. At the age of 60, after the death of her husband, she became a professional Realtor for 25 years. Later she married Charles Williamson who preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1985.

Survived by her daughters: Marilyn (Joseph deceased) Doherty, Barbara (Mark) Burningham, Eileen (Richard) Farmer, Carol (Lynn) Van Leeuwen, 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sisters Kay (Elmo) Garff and Marge (Guy) Murray. Also survived by Charles Williamson's children: Jack (Carol) Williamson, Skip (Faye) Williamson and their families. Preceded in death by a son-in-law and two grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary at 4670 Highland Dr. Funeral services will be Sat. Sept. 13, 2003 at 1 p.m. with a viewing 11:45-12:45 in the LDS Meadowlark Chapel at 2180 East Meadowlark Way (9020 South).
