Salt Lake police were looking Friday for several people who allegedly knocked out and hog-tied a Valley Mental Health employee.
The victim went to an apartment complex, 1352 S. Edison (140 East), that rents to Valley Mental Health clients, about 11 a.m. Thursday. He entered one of the units to find a group of trespassers.
Before he could say or do anything he was hit in the head and knocked out, according to a police report. When he awoke he found himself hog-tied with an extension cord.
The man used his cell phone to redial the last person he called, which happened to be the maintenance man of the complex. The worker found the man in the apartment still tied up and called police. Nothing was taken from the apartment or the victim.
Earlier in the day, the victim and the maintenance worker found two women trespassing in the same apartment and kicked them out, the police report stated.
