Mayor Ross C. "Call me Rocky" Anderson is trying to ride the wave of patriotism by using red, white and blue on his campaign signs, as though he's some sort of patriot. Nothing is farther from the truth. Let's remember the anti-war rally he spearheaded at the City-County building, his American Civil Liberties Union roots, his anti-religion stances and his bar-hopping parade.
Historically, Democrats have proudly used the donkey as a mascot. Nobody would mind him using that lonely creature's image, but the right color for Rocky is yellow.
