For the most part, flights arriving and leaving Salt Lake City International Airport were not affected by the hurricane, primarily because very few direct flights originate from the areas hit hardest by Isabel. About a half-dozen flights had been canceled that were supposed to arrive from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
