I was amused to read Molonai Hola's quote regarding Salt Lake City's police union endorsement of Frank Pignanelli. He is relying upon their disdain for Mayor Rocky Anderson to endorse him if he survives the primary: "When I make it into the finals, I think they will remain consistent in their opposition to Anderson." It's as if this is some sort of foot race.
Does he realize that the police union endorsed Pignanelli not only because of the way Rocky has mistreated them but because Frank has a proven record with law enforcement as a legislator? He supports quality community partnerships with law enforcement, and the police union believes Frank will be the next mayor of Salt Lake City. I don't believe Hola has that same type of record.
