OREM — The education department at Utah Valley State College has passed its first review by the Utah State Board of Education. The Board of Education evaluates each school in the state on a regular basis to ensure that programs are maintaining a high standard of education and training for students enrolled in the teaching programs.
The UVSC secondary education program met the standards set by the board in 46 out of 49 categories.
Since its inception two years ago, the secondary education department has been growing rapidly. It began with only 50 students and now boasts 212 students.
