The search for a new president for Salt Lake Community College will wait until after the Utah Legislature's 2004 session.
Commissioner of Higher Education Cecelia Foxley announced Tuesday that SLCC interim president Judd Morgan will be allowed time to complete the work he has begun.
Morgan met Monday with the State Board of Regents and with the three finalists for SLCC president. Foxley said it became evident to everyone that Morgan should remain in place for a few more months.
Robert Huddleston will stay on as president of Dixie State College of Utah. The other two out-of-state candidates, Foxley said, must now decide whether they want to remain in the running.
