1924 ~ 2003
- Mary Lee Youngfield, 79, passed away Monday, September 22, 2003 at Heritage Park Care Center.
She was born January 13, 1924 in Brigham City the daughter of Eli and Alice Morrison Lee.
Mary married Harold Douglas Youngfield on December 5, 1945 in Ogden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
She was a member of the LDS church and served in the relief society, primary, genealogy and temple sealing for seven years.
Mary was a volunteer at the Davis Hospital and Medical Center. She liked sewing, baking, quilting, reading, gardening and traveling.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Douglas Youngfield, Arizona; Brent Lee Youngfield, West Point; three daughters, Becky Youngfield, Durango, CO; Debbie Youngfield, Clearfield, Lisa Youngfield, Hisperia, CA; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Kirk Lee and one sister, Marge Hancey.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bob Lee, sister, Beth Scottern, and daughter, Susan Aurbaugh.
She was very much loved by her family and all who knew her. She will be greatly Missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Huckleberry Ward, 1273 So. 2500 W., Syracuse. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
