Jesse Aubrey Knight, 85, passed away on September 23, 2003, at the home of his son in Orem, Utah.

Jesse was born on May 26, 1918, in Hinckley, Utah, to James Aubrey and Rose Elizabeth Webb Knight. He was their last surviving child. Jesse graduated from Hinckley High School in 1936, and attended the University of Utah. After serving in the British Mission from 1949-1951, he returned to work at Hill Air Force Base as a fighter aircraft mechanic. He retired in 1980.

Jesse married Beulah Burton in the Salt Lake Temple on June 18, 1953. They were the parents of three sons. In recent years, he served a mission at the Family History Library. He was a faithful home teacher and gave many hours of selfless service. Dad had a love of genealogy and a love of gardening, both of which he generously shared with those around him.

Jesse is survived by his sons: Larry (Diane), Orem; Jim (Liz), Smithfield; and Jess (Deanna), Sandy; 12 grandchildren, one great-grand child. Preceded in death by his eternal companion, Beulah, and his six siblings.

We would like to express our thanks to Dr. Stephen Aslami, who understood and appreciated our Dad; to Community Nursing Services Hospice, and especially to Susan and Dirk who made it possible for us to care for Dad at home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2003, 11 a.m., Winder 12th Ward, 4350 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City. Viewing Friday, Sept 26 from 7 9 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the Winder 12th Ward. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
