Obituary: Calvin T. Broadhead

Our husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Calvin Thomas Broadhead, 72, died September 23, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born in Roosevelt, Utah October 8, 1930 to Melvin and Ruth Johnsen Broadhead. Calvin attended Duchesne High and USU. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On December 7, 1955 he married Rozella Carlile in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Calvin worked as a Sales Rep for Bookcraft Publishers for 30 years. He was active in the LDS Church serving in many positions including a three year Mission in Norway and Rose Park 10th Ward Bishop. Also in the Stake Presidency, High Council and most recently as Patriarch, in the Sandy Utah West Stake.

He is survived by his wife, Rozella; children, Yvonne (Paul) Miller, Kent (Karen), Lee (Pam), Lynn (Tauna), Hal (Michelle); 26 grandchildren; brothers, Rex, Doug, Phil.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 29, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sandy Utah West Stake Center, 8650 South 220 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Sunday 6-8 p.m. or Monday at the stake center from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
