USFS must take blame

This letter is written to the bureaucrats of the U.S. Forest Service and not to those workers who toil diligently on a day-to-day basis in the field doing their job properly. I really have a difficult time controlling my burn when I hear a statement from the USFS like, "We followed our sound burning procedures to the letter and there is no one to blame for what happened in the Cascade Springs area."

Give me a break!

The USFS should take responsibility for the consequences of its actions. Wake up, USFS, and work more closely with the community. You don't have all the answers.
