Girl Scouts hail revamped camp

Some 1,500 Girl Scouts will be wearing Western duds today to celebrate the completion of the Trefoil Ranch in Provo Canyon.

Bishop Carolyn Tanner Irish of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah will participate in a ceremony at 2 p.m. to rededicate the ranch, which was originally built in 1946. It has since been refurbished through a $4.75 million project.

The revised camp looks like a set from a Western movie and its main focus is horseback riding.
