Brigham City Library plans a reading series

BRIGHAM CITY — The Brigham City Library, 26 E. Forest St., will sponsor the "Extreme Classics" reading and book discussion series starting Thursday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. and continuing on the first Thursday of each month through April.

"Out of Africa," by Isak Dinesen, will be discussed at the October meeting by Sally Shigley of Weber State University.

The program is free, and the related books will be available for check-out in advance.

"Annapurna: A Women's Place," "A Lady's Life in the Rocky Mountains" and "Tracks: A Women's Solo Trek Across 1,000 Miles of Australian Outback" are some of the books up for discussion during the series.
