Obituary: Blanche Hill Musser Belcher

Blanche Hill Musser Belcher, age 94, passed away September 3, 2003 at home of natural causes.

Born December 6, 1908, Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph White Musser and Mary Caroline Hill. Married C.D. "Mont" Belcher on June 6, 1932 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She served in numerous LDS Church positions, including a mission in Western Australia with her husband. Blanche, mother of eight children and a foster son, was a talented secretary, seamstress, quilter and homemaker. She loved reading, teaching, was an avid genealogist, member of the DUP and a true patriot. Her service to all was endless.

Survived by children, Annette (Clyde) Harris; Marianne (Ray) Spencer, Richard (Gayle); Normandie (David) Hays; Steven (Andrea); Kim; Lorrie (S. Brett Maeger) Belcher; daughter-in-law Portia Belcher; sister, Naomi Shiffman; 36 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband and son Dennis Belcher.

Funeral services Saturday, September 6, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at the Millcreek Stake Center, 4220 S. Jeannine (420 East). Viewing at Millcreek Stake Center Friday, September 5, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. and day of service 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment Elysian Burial Gardens. Cannon Mortuary funeral directors.
