She was born July 5, 1908 in Pleasant View, UT to Edward S. and Sarah Helena Carlson Hall. She married Joseph Delbert Marriott Aug 14, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 2, 1996.
She was an active lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended Ogden City Schools, but was forced to drop out to help support her family. Later she also worked at the Forest Service and DDO. Helen also assisted her husband in running his livestock business, and in the operation of the Marriott Motel, Ogden, which they owned 15 years.
She was a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother who loved everyone and never said a bad word about anyone. She taught her children the same. She loved her family, neighbors and friends, and was always concerned about their welfare, and revered by all of them in return.
