SOUTH OGDEN — A man who suffers from Alzheimer's has been missing since Friday afternoon, and police are asking the public to help find him.

Jose Espinoza, 91, was last seen about 3 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Macey's Food and Drug, 325 E. 34th Street, in South Ogden. A family member left him in the car while she went inside the store to do some shopping. When she returned, he was gone, South Ogden Police Sgt. Dwight Ruth said.

Espinoza lives with family members, and they are concerned about him. "There's nothing leading to believe that any foul play exists," Ruth said.

Espinoza apparently has wandered away from his family in the past, Ruth said.

Espinoza is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 160 pounds. His hair is gray and his face is unshaven. He was wearing a tan shirt, dark pants and a blue cap.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call South Ogden police dispatch at (801) 629-8221.
