1920 ~ 2003

Jack T. Roark is finally reunited with his beloved wife, Mary Louise Stormont who passed away 14 years ago. He passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Sept. 7, 2003. We all miss him very much but celebrate his return with Mary Lou.

He was born July 26, 1920 to William and Maude Roark in St. Paul, Arkansas and was reared in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He served an extended tour with the Army Air Corp. during World War II and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He was a dedicated employee of Phillips Petroleum Company where he managed plastic's plants in a variety of locations across the US. He was respected and admired by all who came in contact with him. He possessed the unique ability to motivate all around him.

He is survived by his brother, Wayne Roark, his sister Wanda Rutledge, his children Dale and Gay Lynn and their respective families. His love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren was truly without bounds. He was well known as Paw Paw to many neighbors, friends, and children.

A funeral service was held Sept. 8, 2003 at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary. Graveside services will be held in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 13, at 10 am at the site reserved next to Mary Louise.
