Born April 25, 1922 in Logan, UT, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2003, while in the loving hospice care at Care Source, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hyrum and Evelyn, and her beloved husband LaMar.

She is survived by her sister, Evelyn, Sandy, UT and her brother "Ted" of El Sobrante, CA; daughter, Candace; step-children, Marilyn, Russell, Ronald, LouAnn, Val, and Marjean; grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

A life-long active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many varied positions throughout her adult life: Sunday School teacher, both adult and children, Junior Sunday School Coordinator, stake Primary Music Director, Relief Society Visiting Teacher, 1st Counselor, President (Atsugi, Japan) Stake Missionary, Choir Director, and she loved serving the Fairmont Ward as pianist and organist. Her interests centered around music, composing her own songs and writing the lyrics from her own poetry.

A very special "Thank You" to the wonderful care givers who provided her with comfort and well-being through the past months of her earthly life.

"Well done thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; Enter thou into the joy of the Lord." Matthew 25:21

Graveside services will be held Wed., September 10, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery/Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 S., where friends may call Wed. one half hour prior to the services.
