1945 ~ 2004

Our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, Briant Lewis Larsen, 58, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Tues. Jan. 27, 2004. He was surrounded by his loving family when he peacefully left this world after a long battle with cancer.

Briant was born on Sept. 20, 1945 to Soren Gottfred and Etta Marie Larsen in Mt. Pleasant, UT. He married his wife, the love of his life, Carolyn Anderson on Feb. 9, 1963 in Ephraim, UT.

Survived by his wife Carolyn Larsen, his daughters Melissa (Blake) Anderson, Sandy, UT, Kimberly (Mike) Godfrey, Taylorsville, UT; grandchildren Jaden, Breeann, Kylee, Kacie, and step grandchildren Mikelle and Jeremy; brother Milton (Vicki) Larsen, Moroni, UT; sisters, Aileen Larsen, Bancroft, ID; Kathleen Johnson, Carlin NV; and Camille Larsen, Hurricane, UT. He is loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Briant's greatest joy in life was his wife and family. He was a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa who received much joy from being in the outdoors camping and fishing with his family and attending the many activities of his precious grandchildren. He loved hunting, horses, watching sports on television, and visiting for hours with family and friends. He worked hard for many years as a Brick Mason and foreman and took much pride in the work he did.

His life was an example of love and guidance to everyone who knew him. He consistently taught by word and example the meaning of unconditional love, faith and family unity. He was a strong man and hard worker who never gave up and persevered to the end. We love you and will miss you!
