Intolerance is ugly

My husband and I raised our large family in a sometimes intolerant and hostile religious environment. Demonizing our family and shutting us out did not seem wrong to our neighbors. Visiting other congregations with friends, our children only grew stronger and learned the importance of loving and being fair to those who differ.

All aspersions cast over Michael Moore visiting UVSC is the same ugliness in reverse. Have we learned nothing of intolerance and persecution from our own history? A correct perception of reality and the path to truth is often found in new messages.
