FTAA bad for America

The proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas is national suicide. The consolidation of all the nations of this hemisphere (minus Cuba) would mean the end of American independence and the end of our border integrity.

Congress may be asked to vote on this so-called free-trade agreement as early as January 2005. Ask the man on the street or local businesses, "What is the FTAA?" and 99 percent will not know the answer, even though the FTAA will be more damaging than NAFTA. Why is something so sovereignty-threatening and job-destroying not being discussed?
