A slow way to get down

Steve Traynor, Associated Press

The pilot and passengers from the Smokey Bear hot-air balloon climb down a radio tower ladder after the balloon became entangled on the structure during the last day of the International Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, N.M., Sunday. Bill Chapel, 69, was piloting the balloon. He and two young passengers, ages 10 and 14, safely descended the nearly 700-foot-tall structure. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
