Obituary: Aubrey Stewart Parker

In loving memory of A. Stewart Parker, 74 of Sandy, Utah. Our beloved husband, father and grandfather entered eternal life on Sunday October 10, 2004.

Born April 28, 1930 in Santa Barbara, California to parents, A.H. and Eleanor Parker. Stewart lived in California, until age 6, when the family moved to Logan, Utah. He served in the U.S. Navy. 1951 he married Mary Ann Checketts, who passed away in 1971. Stewart was a Salt Lake City Police officer for 20 years. 1972 he married Margaret Rose Andrus. He drove a special education school bus for 16 years in Jordan School District. He loved all outdoor activities, photography, good literature, and family. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served in many positions, including office of High Priest.

Survivors include wife, Margaret; sons, Paul (Virginia), Steven (Barbara), Richard (Tracy), Daniel (Wanda), James; daughters, Pamela (Ken) Phillips, Karen Elsmore; parents; brothers, David (Wyoma), Robert, Alan (Kathy); Checketts family, and Rose Family; 29 grandchildren; at least nine great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Family expresses appreciation to Crosslands Care facility and all friends for care, concern and support.

Viewing will be Thursday, October 14, 2004 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S.; and one hour prior to Funeral Services, which will be held on Friday October 15, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Prescott Chapel, 10975 S. 1650 E. Interment will be at Elysian Garden Cemetery in Murray.
