Juanita Irene Perrett Rasmussen, age 66, passed away peacefully October 10, 2004 in Taylorsville, Utah after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born March 30, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Herbert John Perrett and Ruth Love Perrett. She graduated from South High School. Juanita married Ray Clarance Rasmussen on August 31, 1974 in Elko, Nevada. She loved crocheting, was an avid reader and had many collections, her angels and dolls being her joy. She worked the last 10 years at the S.L.C. Sheriff's Department and made many friends. She was a loving grandma; she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Special thanks to Hospice for all of their loving care and support, especially Jacque. Special love felt thanks to my sister Starr, granddaughter, Ginger and grandson, Shaun for the great love and care to Nita.

Juanita is survived by her loving husband, Ray; daughters, Jody (Wayne) Goff, Pam Rasmussen and Patrice (Kirk) Moser; sons, Steven Rasmussen and Scott (Tora) Rasmussen; sisters, Nola (Tony) Daimico, Arlene (Gerald) Stephens and Starr Hollingsworth; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
