Laura Kiechle, left, Alexis Sellett and Megan Jones, along with other students from Rowland Hall-St. Mark's High School, sew together small bags as part of a service project at "The Sharing Place," a local agency that helps children and their families deal with grief. Called "Half Day/Whole Heart," the community project has generated hundreds of volunteer service hours.
