Obituary: Max J. Pearson

Max J. Pearson, 67, passed away on October 12, 2004, at Cottonwood Hospital, Murray, Utah.

Born on June 5, 1937, in Duchesne, Utah to Von Mathis and Deloras Lottie Pearson. He married Wanda Rowley on June 24, 1957, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked for Mineral Fertilizer Company for 35 years. He loved camping, hunting, scouting and fishing.

Max is survived by his wife Wanda; children Leland "Lee" (Carolyn), LaWanda (Charles) Searle; seven grandchildren, and two great-grand-children; brothers, Leon (Barbara), Rex (Sherry), Devon (Diane), Ray (Annette). Preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Adrienne; brother, Leland; sister-in-law, Betty Pearson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2004, 11 a.m. at the Murraydale Ward, 6300 South 300 East, Murray. Friends and family may call Sunday, October 17, 2004, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, and one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
