WASHINGTON — The House has unanimously passed a resolution sponsored by Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, recognizing a day of tribute to survivors of the Holocaust and honoring the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
"Millions of lives were lost during the Holocaust and hundreds of thousands of survivors immigrated to America to rebuild their lives," said Rep. Chris Cannon, R-Utah, and sponsor of the House version of the same resolution. "I am honored to help pass this resolution honoring the museum's work, as well as the survivors of the holocaust."
Cannon is an executive committee member for the museum.
