Obituary: Troy Dean Tingey

1969 ~2004

God saw you getting tired so he whispered "Come to me". Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A precious heart stopped beating, a body now at peace. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.

Troy passed away following surgery October 14th, 2004.

Born February 18, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Troy's full life began when two wonderful loving parents, Rolland and Leona, adopted Troy and brought him home to complete their family, where he was welcomed by all his extended family, friends and neighbors. He graduated from East High, later serving his LDS mission in Arcadia Calif. His most recent job included work at the Garden Restaurant where he was surrounded by friends and the public he loved.

His optimistic personality, sense of humor, love for movies and pure sweet singing voice only partly describes this magical and very special man.

Survived by his father, Rolland Tingey, stepmother Betty, brother Todd, sister Traci Wisniewski, and brother-in-law Don; nieces, Alisha Lowe Maroney and Erica Rae Wisniewski; nephews, Todd Tingey Jr. and Brian Michael Wisniewski; step-siblings include Toni, Steven, David, Charles, John and Cathy, along with many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his mother Leona Stevenson Tingey and sister Tamra Lowe.
