Clifford Lyon, in his letter (Readers' Forum, Oct. 14), seems to imply that President Bush is the anti-Christ and that only those who oppose him are capable of living Christian principles. What arrogance. The argument he makes is just the redressed mantra of the 1960s: question authority.
Why is it that when groups of people begin thinking and behaving similarly, other more "enlightened" people begin labeling them as ignorant sheep? The existence of a group of people holding similar views is not de facto evidence of a herd mentality. His insinuation is demeaning to those of us who do give the issues and candidates careful thought and study, yet believe differently than he does.
