Raytheon gets contract to upgrade HAFB radars

Massachusetts-based Raytheon Co. said Thursday it has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to upgrade certain radars at Hill Air Force Base.

The five-year contract for AN/TPS-75 radars has a ceiling of $13 million.

Under the contract, Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC will design, develop, test and produce upgraded replacements for AN/TPS-75 subassemblies to increase reliability, reduce maintenance costs and eliminate obsolescence issues. Work will be performed in Long Beach and Sacramento, Calif., offices.

The contract was awarded by the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill.
