Obituary: Florence Edith Lynch

1916 ~ 2004

Florence Edith Lynch, 88, passed away Friday October 15, 2004 in Livonia, Michigan.

She was born August 6, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Harry and Anne Krulik Groth. She married James Thomas Lynch July 13, 1940.

Florence was a member of the United Congregational Church and the Bountiful Community Church where she was the director of Jr. Choir and sang with the Sr. Choir. She was a member of Bethsaida Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was deeply devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She opened her home to immigrants relocating to the United States. She was a collector of bells, taught piano and voice and had a great love of music. Florence sang with the Salt Lake Oratorio society and sang in the Messiah for more than 20 years.

She is survived by two sons, James T. and Terence R., five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a brother Bob and a sister Pearl. Preceded in death by a brother Vern.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday October 21, 2004 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Salt Lake City.
