SPANISH FORK CANYON — Over a period of three days, 1,800 acres in the Halls Fork area near Diamond Fork were successfully burned, say forest officials.

Roads that were closed for the burn are now open, and hunters may access the area.

The prescribed burn began Oct. 14 on a 2,400-acre area that hasn't burned for 75-100 years.
