Ohio motorist indicted in crash that killed 6

PORT CLINTON, Ohio (AP) — A driver who authorities say started a chain-reaction accident that killed six people has been indicted on 12 counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, a prosecutor said.

Brian Woody, 29, of Toledo, pleaded not guilty to the charges during an initial appearance Friday in common pleas court.

The Ottawa County grand jury indictment includes six counts of aggravated vehicular homicide that charge Woody was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time, all second-degree felonies.
