A statue of Paul Revere sported a Red Sox cap and jersey in Boston's North End neighborhood last Sunday when the Red Sox trailed the New York Yankees 3-0 in their playoff series. Below right, New York Gov. George Pataki, left, joins Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney at a hotel in New York City in donning Boston Red Sox jerseys to settle a bet. Because the New York Yankees ended up losing to Boston in the American League Championship Series, Pataki had to wear the Red Sox jersey to a public function.
