Halloween party

The Children's Museum of Utah, 840 N. 300 West, is holding its seventh-annual, child-friendly "Fright-Free Halloween Party" today, 4-7:30 p.m.

In addition to the museum's exhibits, there will be costume contests, a fishing pond, cookie decorating, a maze and a petting zoo, plus performances by magician Christopher Fair and the Starry-Eyed Puppets. There will also be a silent auction for the grown-ups.
