New stake presidents

A new stake has been created in Utah.

The Ogden Utah Pleasant Valley Stake, which includes the Burch Creek 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th and the Uintah 1st and 8th wards, and the Ogden Valley (Deaf) Branch, has been created by Elder Charles Didier of the Presidency of the Seventy.

OGDEN UTAH PLEASANT VALLEY STAKE: (Oct. 10, 2004) Created from the Ogden Utah Burch Creek Stake and the South Weber Utah Stake. President — Michael Vincent Houtz, 45, attorney; wife, Susan Macfarlane Houtz. Counselors — Brett Kirk Moyes, 46, dentist; wife, Shanna Le Call Moyes. Dallas Henry Buckway Jr., 43, president of Americarpets; wife, Shirlene Gailey Buckway.

ALBANY NEW YORK STAKE: (Oct. 10, 2004) President — Rodney Hill Standage, 39, tax counsel for General Electric; succeeding John Christian Vom Lehn; wife, Rachelle Lynn Driggs Standage. Counselors — Garth M Nelson, 51, mechanical engineer at General Electric; wife, Wendy Lee Adams Nelson. John Vincent Gulisane Jr., 45, high school principal; wife, Katherine Rose Hollenbeck Gulisane.
