SHARE Obituary: Dora Jean Barkle Walters

9/25/1910 ~ 10/2/2004

Our mother, grandmother, and aunt passed away and went to a family reunion that she has been looking forward to for a long time. Her parents, four brothers, three sisters, a husband and two children, and many, many friends will be there to greet her. Jean was born in Thatcher, Utah to Frederick Barkle and Rozina Brough Barkle.

Many weekends were spent in Tremonton and Providence where most of her family members were living. She endured much heartache and physical pain throughout her life, but never complained. Her favorite saying was "It could be worse."

She is survived by two sons, Dee Walters, Lynn Walters (Debbie); and a daughter, Karen Keller; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to Hearts of Hospice and the wonderful ladies at the Beehive Home in Sandy for all their care and love they gave to our mother.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12 noon at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., where friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m.-12 noon. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
